A Class...............top the class and still rising!

This is a test page for the new A Class FC website which we hope will be the new medium by which we communicate with all our members and the world at large.

I am Alan Merson, the Chairman of A Class and this is my son Anthony who is a proud member of the Under 9 team that competes in the Camden & Islington Midweek Youth League and have just clinched the League title for the A Division with three games still to go, having won all eleven of their games since the Christmas split from Divs North & South;to add to the six succesive victories they ran up since their only defeat of the season when they surprisingly lost 0-2 to Regents Park way back in September!

We also run sides in the Under 8, Under 10,Under 11 and Under 12 sections and the Under 11s also compete in the East London & Essex League on Sundays ~ all Midweek League games are played (whether home or away) at the Market Road Astroturf complex in N7, nearest station Caledonian Road on the Piccadilly Line and the no 274 bus stops right by the gates; alternatively any of the other bus services that run along the Caledonian Road are just a five minute walk away.

Sunday home matches in the East London & Essex League are staged on Wanstead Flats in Manor Park E7 as they have to be played on grass and there aren't any grass pitches in Islington!

Training sessions and coaching are held at the superb Whittington Park facility on the state of the art 3G Astroturf and adequately floodlit for those winter evenings. Monday night and Saturday lunchtime is when you will find our coaches and players hard at work.
